Women Supporting Women Campaign
In a time where many women don’t feel heard, valued, or appreciated, we wanted to do something to give back and support them. Take a look at the final results of the Women Supporting Women campaign! We collected a lot for our community and are so humbled by the generosity.
The donations consisted of:
1,796 individual diapers
3,008 individual wipes
2,959 grams of formula
1,666 individual pads
1,197 individual tampons
Thank you to everyone who donated!!! We loved being able to drop these off at the Walkerton & District Food Bank.
Public Skating in Walkerton
It was a fantastic day of skating, despite some very wintery weather. Thanks to all who came out and enjoyed some skating time and some hot chocolate!
WES for Youth Online
Did you know that we donate $25 for each mortgage we fund to @WES for Youth Online? I’m thrilled to announce that this week we donated a total of $3,800 from our 2024 mortgages !
WES for Youth Online is an incredible service that provides 100% free e-counselling to Youths (age 13 to 24) anywhere in Ontario. Mental health support is vital and this amazing organization makes it easy for youths to get help.
As a non-profit, they need funds in order to continue offering their services and rely heavily on donations. If you’re in a position to donate, please consider doing so at wesforyouthonline.ca.

Lemonade for Wishes
In August we partnered with Ladies 'n' Gents - eXp Realty to put on Lemonade for Wishes, a fundraiser in support of Make-A-Wish Canada. Despite the wet weather, we had an incredible time and were thrilled to see so many smiling faces stop by for a glass of lemonade and to make a donation. Thanks to our community, we were able to raise over $1,100 to help grant wishes for children who are facing critical illnesses.
WES for Youth Online
In 2023 we began donating a portion of our commission from each mortgage to an incredible organization called WES for Youth Online. In early January of 2024 we were able to provide them with a cheque for $2,500! WES for Youth Online provides free, professional, confidential e-counselling to Ontario youth ages 13-24 through email, live-chat, telephone, and video services. Their goal is to provide youth with a safe, inclusive space for them to grow and better their mental health. We’re thrilled to be able to support WES for Youth Online and will continue with this initiative in 2024.

Public Skating in Walkerton
Although they wouldn’t let me drive the Zamboni we still had a great time re-connecting with the community of Walkerton. It was so lovely to see some friendly familiar faces!
Cookies for Kids Campaign
For the Make A Wish Foundation – We baked cookies by donation in order to raise funds for a local child name Kaycie in order to make her wish come true. This was a fun event and quite the learning experience for us all, considering none of us really knew how to bake bulk amounts of cookies. We were able to raise over $600 to go towards Kaycie's wish!
Longest Day of Play
We partnered with eXp Realty Ladies 'n’ Gents to host a fun day at the Walkerton pool, complete with a clown, balloon animals, and sweet slushie treats. It was nice to see so many smiling faces enjoying the water and sun!
